SKY ENGINE AI closes Series A round with $7M destined to accelerate several computer vision applications

SKY ENGINE AI, a company specializing in synthetic data generation for computer vision applications, has just raised $7 million in a Series A funding round led by Cogito Capital Partners, with the participation of Edge VC, Taiwania Capital, and the company's existing investors. Cogito Capital's general partner, Martin Jasinski, will join SKY's board of directors as part of the funding agreement.

SKY ENGINE AI is an industry leader in synthetic data generation for computer vision counting companies like Scania, Ericsson, Samsung, and Syngenta among its clients. Their synthetic datasets enable the training of high-performance adaptive AI models that are better at generalization against unknown information and have fewer algorithmic biases. A few months ago, the Renault Group selected SKY ENGINE AI to provide their renowned Synthetic Data Cloud for Driver Monitoring System (DMS) so the carmaker can boost upcoming car models' capabilities.
