AM Intelligence seeks up to $3 billion for Nvidia chip order
AM Intelligence is seeking up to $3 billion for Nvidia chips through bonds, bank loans and possible customer advances, according to Bloomberg, though talks are preliminary and the funding mix remains unsettled.
AM Intelligence is seeking as much as $3 billion to fund a previously announced Nvidia chip purchase, according to Bloomberg, which cited unidentified people familiar with the matter. The prospective package could combine bonds, bank loans and other funding, while the company expects about $300 million in advance payments from potential customers, the people said. Talks are at an early stage, the mix has not been finalized and terms could change.
The proposed raise would add another layer of financing to the Indian AI infrastructure company’s planned compute buildout. The reported $300 million in potential customer advances would sit alongside the contemplated debt. Bloomberg did not identify potential customers or say whether any advance commitments are binding. The report also disclosed no lenders, currencies, maturities, pricing, collateral or timetable.
AM Intelligence separately said on October 5 that it had placed two firm orders for 20,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs, following an August order for 9,000. Together, the company said, those three orders represented close to 100 megawatts of capacity. It scheduled the roughly 70-megawatt follow-on deployment in India and Malaysia for the second quarter of 2027. DataPhoenix has separately detailed Nvidia’s AI supply-chain capacity plans through 2028.
The company said $6 billion was already committed to its initial 100 megawatts and that a further 300 megawatts planned over the following 15 months would require more than $20 billion in capital spending. Public information does not establish how the reported financing relates to those broader commitments.
AM Intelligence declined to comment on the financing. Nvidia did not respond to Bloomberg’s requests for comment.
