Anthropic launches Reflect, a beta dashboard that shows Claude users their own usage patterns

Anthropic launched Reflect, a beta dashboard that lets Claude users track and visualize their own usage patterns, on July 9, 2026.

The feature is available to Free, Pro and Max tier users who have Memory turned on, accessed through Settings on Claude’s web and desktop apps, Anthropic said in its announcement. It summarizes a user’s activity over 1-, 3-, 6- or 12-month windows.

Reflect shows task types and peak usage times, and maps how a person’s activity lines up with Anthropic’s AI Fluency Framework, which sorts use into four categories: delegation, description, discernment and diligence. Users can also set quiet hours or turn on a break-reminder nudge.

Reflect’s framing cuts two ways. A dashboard that scores your habits against the company’s own model of good AI use is also a soft push toward deeper engagement, and the marketing edge is hard to miss. Anthropic pitches it as a self-awareness tool that can help users log off, not just log more.

Anthropic said the report excludes incognito chats, does not pull the underlying files from connected tools, and omits conversations linked to health-integration tools. A future update will add time-spent metrics, which are absent from the beta.

The data behind the dashboard is a user’s own activity, so the privacy carve-outs matter: what Reflect leaves out is as relevant as what it shows. It is also gated to accounts with Memory enabled, so not every Claude user will see it.

Whether the promised time-spent metrics arrive will show how complete a picture Anthropic is willing to give users of their own use.
