Anthropic reportedly shifts IPO timetable to mid-November
Anthropic could begin formal IPO marketing in the week of November 9 and start trading before Thanksgiving after earlier plans for an October listing were reportedly pushed back.
Anthropic reportedly aims to begin formal marketing for its initial public offering as soon as the week of November 9, after pushing back earlier listing plans. That schedule could put the maker of Claude on track to start trading before Thanksgiving on November 26, though the company has not publicly committed to it.
The mid-November window is a reported shift from an October target covered earlier by DataPhoenix. Separate reporting also places Anthropic’s expected Nasdaq debut in November. That supports the revised month, but it does not independently confirm the week of November 9 or a first trading day before Thanksgiving. People familiar with the plans said the timing could change and that a debut was still expected by the end of 2026.
Anthropic said on June 1 that it had confidentially submitted a draft Form S-1 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The proposed offering, the subject of earlier DataPhoenix coverage of Anthropic’s IPO prospectus, would still depend on market conditions and other factors, the company said. Anthropic has not set the number of shares or an offer price.
