Cohere launched the PitchBook Data Premium Connector in North on October 26, bringing licensed private-market data into its enterprise AI platform.

North customers need an active PitchBook license and must have Single Sign-On enabled. Organization administrators enable the connector from North’s connector settings, and licensed users authenticate with PitchBook. PitchBook’s general connector guide separately says only licensed users can access its Premium Connector and that SSO ties access to each user’s permissions.

The connector can retrieve PitchBook data on companies, deals, funds, investors and market benchmarks within North. Cohere says access follows the entitlements and permissions already configured across PitchBook and North, limiting users to data their accounts are licensed to access. Cohere also says every figure retrieved from PitchBook includes a citation for human review.

Cohere presents corporate development, market research, finance, investor relations, sales, partnerships and executive briefings as potential uses. These are company-supplied product examples, not measured results. The announcement says teams can turn a leadership question into a sourced one-pager in minutes, but it provides no benchmark, customer result or methodology to substantiate that workflow-performance claim.
