Cohere and PwC announced a global alliance on October 5 to help organizations deploy enterprise AI systems. The partnership will launch first in Canada.

Under the division of work announced by the companies, Cohere will provide its North agentic AI platform, enterprise models, and search and retrieval capabilities. PwC will help clients identify use cases, assess risk and regulatory requirements, redesign workflows, establish governance and controls, connect the technology to enterprise systems, and support implementation.

Intended uses include enterprise search, knowledge access, deep research, decision support, content generation, and task automation. The partners said the offering will support private-cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped deployments. An air-gapped system is isolated from public networks, an option intended for organizations handling sensitive data or infrastructure.

PwC’s announcement says the combined approach can help organizations move AI projects into production and produce measurable business value. Those outcomes remain the partners’ projections; the opened sources do not establish completed deployments or measured results from the alliance.

The companies did not disclose financial terms, a contract value, a launch customer, or a timetable for expansion beyond the initial Canada launch.
