CoreWeave said it plans to enter India through a 240-megawatt data-center deployment with AdaniConneX at the Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai.

The planned capacity would span three buildings rated at 80 MW each. CoreWeave said it would be the sole tenant across all three.

CoreWeave is targeting mid-2028 availability for the first phase, with additional capacity expected to come online in stages. The company did not say how much capacity the initial phase would provide or give dates for the later phases.

CoreWeave plans to deploy NVIDIA’s Vera Rubin platform at the campus. The company said the facilities are being designed for high-density AI infrastructure, with direct liquid cooling for GPU data halls and a non-evaporative chilled-water system.

CoreWeave also said it would have the opportunity to add as much as another 240 MW at the campus, potentially doubling the capacity allocated to the company there.

The announcement did not disclose the project’s cost, CoreWeave’s expected capital commitment or the detailed contractual structure with AdaniConneX. It also did not establish the status of construction, permitting, equipment procurement or power connections. The deployment details and availability schedule remain CoreWeave’s forward-looking plans and targets.

CoreWeave said it intends to establish an office in India and hire locally as part of the expansion.
