Crux Labs said it emerged from stealth and raised more than $6 million in an oversubscribed funding round while launching a platform for evaluating and improving enterprise AI agents. The company said it will use the proceeds to expand research and engineering and accelerate enterprise deployments.

Benchstrength and Misneach co-led the round, with Analog Ventures and Pareto Holdings also participating. Crux Labs did not disclose the exact amount above $6 million, the round stage, its valuation or other transaction terms.

The platform is designed to capture subject-matter experts’ judgment inside customers’ existing workflows and calibrate custom evaluations against that judgment. Put simply, Crux Labs aims to turn experts’ unwritten rules into tests for an AI agent’s work.

Crux Labs claims the evaluations can monitor 100% of production traffic in real time and drive continuous agent improvements that are shipped directly to production. The company did not provide independent benchmarks or enough implementation detail in the available evidence to establish those performance claims.

Crux Labs also says the platform has gained traction with high-growth startups and Fortune 500 enterprises in healthcare, cybersecurity, financial services and other complex industries. It did not name customers or disclose customer counts, deployment volumes, retention data or other adoption metrics.

Crux Labs identifies Julie Kheyfets as co-founder and chief executive and Krishna Kulkarni as co-founder and chief technology officer.
