DayOne files for Nasdaq IPO under DODC ticker
DayOne filed for a US IPO under the proposed Nasdaq ticker DODC after posting $512 million in first-half revenue alongside a widening net loss.
DayOne Data Centers filed a Form F-1 for a proposed US initial public offering and applied to list American depositary shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker DODC.
DayOne has not yet set the number of shares to be offered or the proposed price range, so the deal’s size and valuation remain undisclosed. For market context, DataPhoenix has also covered Nscale’s US IPO filing.
Figures from DayOne’s filing cited in independent reporting show that the Singapore-based data-center developer generated $512 million in revenue in the six months ended June 30, 2026, up from $151.5 million a year earlier. Its net loss widened to $77.2 million from $12.6 million.
The same account of the filing says DayOne plans to use the proceeds to develop and build new data-center projects and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
DayOne develops and operates data centers for cloud-computing and artificial-intelligence customers. It provides space, power, cooling and connectivity primarily through long-term contracts. The company says its footprint spans 10 markets across Asia-Pacific and Europe, while the account of the filing identifies operations in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Japan, Finland and Spain.
GDS Holdings established the business as GDS International in Singapore in 2022, according to the reporting source. The business separated from its parent and was rebranded as DayOne in January 2025.
DayOne named Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, BofA Securities and Citigroup as underwriters. The registration statement has been filed but is not yet effective, so the securities cannot be sold and offers to buy cannot be accepted until it becomes effective.
