Higharc, a homebuilding AI startup, raised a $95 million Series C led by Insight Partners and launched an AI Estimating product with US LBM. US LBM is the largest private distributor of lumber and building materials in the United States. The company announced the $95 million Series C on June 30, 2026, lifting its total funding past $170 million.

The pairing of a fresh round with a distribution deal is the point. Rather than sell software and hope builders adopt it, Higharc is routing its product through the country’s biggest private lumber supplier, putting AI-driven material estimating in front of US LBM’s customer base at launch.

The estimating product runs on Higharc’s AutoTranslate AI, which converts 2D floorplan images into 3D spatial data models to generate material takeoffs – the itemized counts of lumber and materials a job needs. Construction estimating is still largely manual, and automating it is the wedge Higharc is betting on.

“AI isn’t just assisting builders. It’s reshaping how builders work, cutting time and cost per job,” CEO and co-founder Marc Minor said. The round drew a deep investor list, including Wellington Management, Fifth Wall, Spark Capital, Lux Capital, SE Ventures, Simpson Strong-Tie and MetaProp, among others.

Higharc did not disclose revenue, customer counts or the accuracy of AutoTranslate’s takeoffs, and the time- and cost-savings claims are the company’s own. Whether AI estimating holds up on messy real-world floorplans, and whether the US LBM channel converts to paying builders, is what the funding buys time to prove.
