Meta unveils Muse Charm keychain device, targets December release

Meta unveiled Muse Charm at Connect 2026, introducing a pocket-sized device built for voice interaction with the company’s Muse personal AI agent. The hardware gives Meta a dedicated consumer device for Muse beyond access through phones and computers.

Reports from Connect put the palm-sized, keychain-like device on track for release in December 2026. Meta’s official recap did not give a price, an exact sale date or a list of launch markets, saying only that the company would share more later in the year.

Meta describes Muse Charm as a way to talk and interact with Muse through what it calls a state-of-the-art real-time voice model. Reporting from the event said the device is intended to let people use Muse without a phone, computer or smart glasses.

Meta executives also demonstrated Muse software handling real-time voice conversations and video chats, along with travel planning, reservations and grocery ordering. The available evidence does not establish that every capability was demonstrated on Muse Charm itself or that all of them will be available on the device at launch.

The hardware announcement extends Meta’s earlier rollout of Muse as a personal AI agent. Meta said it launched Muse earlier in September and plans to bring it to its AI glasses in the coming months. The opened sources do not establish final battery life, dimensions, connectivity or other production specifications.
