Submit a tip
Got a tip about an AI or data launch, funding round, outage, or research result? Send it to the Data Phoenix newsroom. We protect our sources.
Some of the best stories start with someone who knows something before the rest of the world does. If you've seen a launch, a funding round, an acquisition, an outage, a layoff, or a research result that our audience should know about, tell us.
What's useful
- Concrete, checkable details — names, dates, numbers, documents.
- Things that are genuinely new, not already widely reported.
- Context only an insider would have, even if it's partial.
How we handle tips
- We protect our sources. We don't reveal who told us something, and we don't publish a tipster's identity without explicit permission.
- We verify before we publish. A tip is a starting point, not a story. We confirm independently.
- We won't act on a tip used to settle a score unless the underlying facts stand up on their own.
Sending sensitive information
If a tip is sensitive, keep the first message minimal and let us suggest a more secure channel before you share details or documents. Don't use a work device or account if doing so could put you at risk.
The fastest way to reach us is the contact page. Tell us what you have in a line or two and we'll point you to the right person.
