Apple has made Siri AI available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish through its 27.2 software updates, expanding the assistant beyond English.

The update extends Siri AI to compatible iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro devices. Apple still labels Siri AI as beta software in iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2.

Access is not universal. Under Apple’s setup requirements, users need an Apple Intelligence-enabled device, with both the device language and Siri language set to a supported language. The Apple Account must also be registered in an eligible region. Apple Watch access requires pairing with an Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone that has Siri AI turned on.

Apple says Siri AI is unavailable to users under 13. It is currently unavailable on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch in the European Union, while supported Mac and Apple Vision Pro configurations remain eligible. The service also does not work when the user’s Apple Account region is set to mainland China.

After installing the update, users can opt in through Settings. Apple’s instructions call for voice enrollment and a privacy review, and warn that the necessary software may not download immediately.

Siri AI and some other Apple Intelligence features use server-side models and are subject to daily usage limits. Apple says the limits can vary by feature, request complexity, system demand, system policies, and other factors, but it has not published numeric caps or a reset schedule. The company also says it will offer expanded access to limited server-backed features for a fee in the future, without specifying a price or launch date.

Apple plans to add traditional Chinese, Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese support for Siri AI by the end of 2026.
