Gallatin AI raises $50 million to expand military logistics software
Gallatin AI raised a $50 million Series A to expand its Navigator military logistics platform, engineering team and AI-enabled sustainment capabilities.
Gallatin AI announced a $50 million Series A backed by new and existing investors, including 8VC and Silent Ventures. The round gives the defense-technology company fresh funding to expand its military logistics software.
Gallatin plans to use the money to grow its engineering team, accelerate product development and broaden its AI-enabled sustainment capabilities across the Joint Logistics Enterprise. The company did not disclose how it will divide the capital among those priorities.
Navigator, the company’s flagship product, is a decision-support platform for sustainment—the work of keeping military forces supplied, equipped and ready. Gallatin says the platform connects data and workflows to give users a unified view of readiness and coordinate processes involving vehicles, supplies and medical logistics.
Gallatin says Army and Air Force customers use Navigator at tactical, operational and strategic planning levels. The company also says the software is deployed with U.S. military units worldwide and has supported joint and combined exercises in Japan, Alaska and Europe. The reviewed sources did not independently establish the full scope of those deployments or quantify operational results.
Gallatin’s announcement said the round brings its total capital raised to $70 million, but did not provide enough detail about the earlier financing to reconcile that figure. The announcement did not identify a lead investor, provide a complete investor list or disclose a valuation, ownership dilution or other financial terms.
