General Intuition raises $220 million at $6.2 billion valuation
The world-model developer's announced valuation is about 2.7 times the $2.3 billion figure attached to its Series A roughly three months earlier.
General Intuition has raised $220 million at a $6.2 billion valuation as the world-model developer builds AI systems designed to choose actions and simulate their outcomes.
That valuation is about 2.7 times the $2.3 billion figure attached to the company’s $320 million Series A roughly three months earlier. The earlier financing was announced on June 25.
Valor Equity Partners, Atreides, 776, Point72, Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst participated in the new round, according to Coalition Capital. The disclosed materials do not say whether the valuation is pre-money or post-money. Nor do they give the round a label or disclose a lead investor, dilution or other financing terms.
General Intuition describes its action models as systems that decide what to do and its world models as systems that predict the results of those actions. For context on another approach to the field, DataPhoenix has covered World Labs’ Atlas world model.
Coalition Capital says General Intuition trains on billions of action-labeled videos and can access more than 100 times the action data used by leading robotics and world-model foundation models. It also says Medal is on track for 3 billion video uploads a year. The research package did not independently verify those comparisons.
Coalition Capital says General Intuition has opened a partner waitlist for early model access and is expanding its team in New York and Europe. The announcement does not establish general availability. In a separate research demonstration, the authors of the MIRA technical report say their world model was trained on 10,000 hours of Rocket League gameplay and can generate four-player matches at 20 frames per second on one Nvidia B200 GPU.
