An on-screen service notice shown on an LG television says Microsoft has decided to end Copilot support on TVs. Reporting based on that notice places the expected cutoff during 2026, but Microsoft has not announced an exact date. The notice says the decision covers Copilot functionality on all TVs, including the Copilot-enabled feature on LG sets.

The withdrawal would unwind part of Microsoft’s push to put the assistant on selected 2025 television lines. The available evidence does not give an exact cutoff date or enumerate affected models, regions or firmware versions. It also leaves the status of Samsung Smart Monitor integrations unresolved.

Samsung introduced Copilot on selected 2025 TVs in August 2025. The supported lineup included Micro RGB, Neo QLED and OLED TVs, The Frame Pro and The Frame, with availability varying by market. Samsung said viewers could open Copilot from the Tizen home screen, Samsung Daily+ and Click to Search.

LG described Copilot access in its 2025 OLED evo lineup in January 2025. Its product page for the 2025 OLED C5 also says the television’s AI Search feature can provide additional results and solutions through Microsoft Copilot.

No standalone shutdown announcement from Microsoft, LG or Samsung was available in the reviewed evidence. The LG notice says the Copilot-enabled feature is no longer available and may stop functioning shortly, leaving the immediate operating status of individual televisions unclear.
