NVIDIA sets October 23 launch for 64GB DGX Spark at $4,999

NVIDIA will bring its 64GB DGX Spark to market through six hardware partners on October 23, offering a lower-memory alternative to the 128GB system at a starting price of $4,999.

NVIDIA said a new DGX Spark configuration with 64GB of unified memory will be available October 23 from Acer, ASUS, Dell, Gigabyte, HP and MSI, starting at $4,999. The system offers a lower-memory entry point to the company’s compact Grace Blackwell platform, though NVIDIA will not sell this version as a Founders Edition.

The 64GB configuration retains the GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, DGX OS and NVIDIA AI software stack used by the existing 128GB model, the company said. The key trade-off is unified memory — a shared pool available to the system’s CPU and GPU — with the new version providing half the capacity of the 128GB model. The hardware sits within a broader NVIDIA developer stack that also includes the company’s Open Agent Safety Platform for AI-agent containment.

NVIDIA says one 64GB system can run models with as many as 100 billion parameters on the device. Its current specifications for the 128GB DGX Spark claim support for models with as many as 200 billion parameters. Those limits are vendor-stated model-capacity claims, not independently validated results.

Two 64GB units can also be linked directly over their 200 GbE ConnectX-7 connections, according to NVIDIA. The company’s Sync Cluster Assistant detects the connected systems, checks their configurations and sets up the network, allowing the pair to pool 128GB of memory. NVIDIA claims that setup can support models with as many as 200 billion parameters.

In a company-run test using a Qwen 3.8 27B model, NVIDIA said two clustered 64GB systems delivered up to 1.7 times the performance of one system. The result has not been independently reproduced.

NVIDIA’s hardware documentation for the 128GB model lists a 20-core Arm CPU, 273 GB/s of memory bandwidth, ConnectX-7 networking and up to one petaflop of FP4 tensor performance with sparsity. The 64GB announcement confirms the same GB10 chip and software stack, but does not provide a complete specification table for the new configuration.

Gigabyte separately said its 64GB AI TOP ATOM will become available October 23. It cautioned that pricing, availability and sales channels may vary by region. Comparable launch-day configurations from the other five named partners have not been independently confirmed.
