Palantir Technologies reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.935 billion on August 3, up 93% from a year earlier, and raised its full-year outlook, the data-analytics and AI software company said after the U.S. market close.

Shares rose sharply in extended trading. The gain was led by U.S. commercial revenue, which climbed 149% year-over-year to $764 million as more American companies bought Palantir’s AI software; U.S. government revenue grew 90% to $809 million.

Palantir raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to about $8.15 billion, or roughly 82% growth, and lifted its U.S. commercial target above $3.424 billion. It also guided adjusted free cash flow to $4.5 billion to $4.7 billion for the year.

GAAP net income was $1.062 billion, a 55% margin, and diluted earnings per share of $0.41 topped Wall Street estimates.

The company closed 220 deals worth at least $1 million during the quarter, including 73 worth $10 million or more, and reported a Rule of 40 score of 155%, per Palantir’s earnings release. The Rule of 40 combines revenue growth and profit margin; a score above 40 is considered healthy.

“Demand for AI sovereignty has now been unleashed,” Chief Executive Alex Karp said in the release. “Palantir is the only company that has demonstrated it can transform tokens into actual economic value.”

The figures are Palantir’s own unaudited quarterly results. Rule of 40 and adjusted free cash flow are non-GAAP measures the company defines itself, so they are not directly comparable across vendors.
