Data observability platform Coralogix recently acquired Aporia, a company specializing in guardrails and observability tools for machine learning and generative AI applications. Aporia's Guardrails solution recently made the TIME Best Inventions of 2024 list, demonstrating the public's trust in the product which is soon to be integrated into Coralogix platform to create a product with a significant market presence thanks to the advantages of a solution which integrates insights from AI and traditional software workflows.
As part of the acquisition, the entire Aporia team will transition to Coralogix, with the latter planning to double the size of the team over the next two years. Additionally, Aporia CEO Liran Hason, and Alon Gubkin, Aporia’s CTO will head Coralogix AI, an upcoming dedicated AI research center to be set up by Coralogix. The company plans to invest heavily in the center over the next two years, focusing on crucial AI challenges including transparency, security, and governance.
Founded in 2019, Aporia brings an impressive customer portfolio including DoorDash, Bosch, and Lemonade. The platform's technology helps organizations detect and address AI issues in real-time, from hallucinations to prompt injections and bias concerns. As part of the Coralogix platform, Aporia's technology will enable the former to deliver a platform offering unified monitoring of traditional software and AI, real-time error detection, and custom solutions fitting the specific needs of individual AI and engineering teams.
