Gilion (formerly Ark Kapital) is a Swedish Growth and Funding AI-powered platform with a €40 million total raised equity. The €10 million investment follows an impressive growth increase during 2023, with a 4x year-over-year revenue increase and an 8x increase of companies on the platform. The investment will enable Gilion to help even more companies to optimize their growth. Gilion provides access and insights into its clients' historical and predicted performance and, based on its proprietary engine's insights, Gilion can also provide non-dilutive loans to growth-stage companies. These loans can often be granted with up to 2 years of interest-only period, and the companies can be offered up to six years for repayments. Last year Gilion expanded its operations to Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Finland. The company is currently backed by LocalGlobe, Creandum, former Blackstone Co-head, John McCormick, SEB's Annika Falkengren, and Lombard Odier, in addition to seven unicorn founders, including Hjalmar Winbladh of Epidemic Sound, Jacob De Geer of IZettle, and Timo Soininen of Small Giant Games.
