HERO Software secured €40 million to boost the expansion of its platform for tradespeople
HERO Software, an AI-powered platform initially created to combat climate change, has raised €40 million in Series B funding to expand its comprehensive workflow management solution for tradespeople across Europe.
HERO Software, a startup funded in Hanover in 2020, started its journey aiming to contribute to the fight against climate change by streamlining the process by which tradespeople could get leads to install heat pumps and solar panels. It wasn't long before co-founders Dr. Michael Kessler and Philipp Lyding realized they had a platform where tradespeople could manage more general workflows. As a result of this realization, HERO Software's AI-powered platform now manages everything from first contact with customers to project execution, invoicing, and payments for over 20,000 customers in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region.
HERO Software has recently raised €40 million in a Series B funding round led by Eight Roads and backed by Federated Hermes and Cusp Capital. The funding will boost HERO Software's European expansion, starting with Poland, France, and the Netherlands.
