MagicSchool AI is a fast-growing technology platform for schools and educators. Founded by Adeel Khan, a former teacher and principal, MagicSchool's first focus was to combat educator burnout by delivering a useful and trustworthy AI-powered assistant that can help educators with tasks they face on a day-to-day basis. MagicSchool AI's Magic Tools currently comprises over 60 individual tools that can handle everything from lesson plan creation to behavior intervention suggestions, and assignment generation. Since its launch, over 2 million educators have signed up for MagicSchool, and over 4,000 schools and districts have joined as partners.

The next step in MagicSchool's journey is the MagicSchool for Students platform, which empowers educators to harness the power of AI to build tools and resources for their students. MagicSchool for Students has been an undeniable success, growing faster than the educator platform, and reaching several hundred thousand students in just over a month. The Student platform aims to support educators as they help students facing challenges at school through strategies such as adaptive 1:1 tutoring, differentiating instruction, and just-in-time support for students.

An even more ambitious view has the MagicSchool Student platform supporting language learning and generally supporting a more engaging education system for students, where AI is embraced as a tool for creativity in (supervised) activities like script writing, business building, story drafting, film and art prototyping, and much more.

This new stage in MagicSchool's growth will be boosted by the company's recent $15.3 million Series A funding round led by Bain Capital Ventures and backed by top investors including Adobe Ventures, Common Sense Media, and existing investors Range Ventures. Individual supporters of MagicSchool's Series A include Replit founder Amjad Masad Clever co-founders Tyler Bosmeny and Rafael Garcia, and OutSchool co-founder Amir Nathoo.
