Eco DC Solutions said it signed a partnership agreement with Dongfang Turbine Co. covering 30 G50 natural-gas turbines for Canadian data-centre and AI projects. The company says the fleet is intended for dedicated behind-the-meter generation, but disclosed no project sites or delivery schedule.

According to the Adag Group company’s October 26 announcement, the agreement was formalized at a Montreal ceremony and names Eco DC Solutions as Dongfang Turbine’s North American partner and importer. Eco DC Solutions says the 30 units could provide more than 2.1 GW in combined-cycle installations, or approximately 70 MW per installation. That capacity has not been delivered or independently established.

For comparison, Dongfang Electric describes the G50 as a 50 MW F-class heavy-duty gas turbine and said in August 2026 that it had shipped one unit to Kazakhstan. Eco DC Solutions’ higher per-installation figure is its projection for a combined-cycle configuration.

Eco DC Solutions also says the agreement expands an initial 10-unit order signed earlier in 2026. Its announcement gives no date or separate documentation for that initial order. It also omits the turbine purchase price, payment commitments, cancellation provisions and other commercial terms.

Under the announced plan, Eco DC Solutions would lead the supply, integration, certification and commissioning of Canadian G50 packages. It also plans to establish a Montreal-headquartered service organization trained by Dongfang Turbine. The company says the packages would carry its nameplate and receive support through a long-term service agreement with Dongfang Turbine, but it did not disclose that agreement’s term or commercial conditions.

The company says the turbine agreement underpins more than $8 billion in planned Canadian power-generation investment. It did not state the currency, financing status or allocation of that spending. Eco DC Solutions says dedicated generation would help data-centre projects advance faster, but named no permits, gas or grid interconnections, environmental approvals or power-offtake arrangements.

Eco DC Solutions projects thousands of skilled construction and trades jobs across Canada, along with hundreds of permanent operations and maintenance roles. The announcement provides no methodology, locations or schedule for those estimates.
