Replit announced a $400 million Series D funding round led by Georgian, tripling its valuation to $9 billion in just six months. Founded in 2016 with a vision to make software development accessible to everyone, Replit enables users to build applications without coding expertise. The platform is now used by 85% of Fortune 500 companies, with enterprise customers including Zillow, LabCorp, Atlassian, PayPal, and Adobe. The AI-powered development platform now serves over 50 million users and is on track to reach $1 billion in run-rate revenue by the end of 2026.

The round included participation from G Squared, Prysm Capital, Coatue, a16z, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, and strategic investors like Accenture Ventures, Databricks Ventures, and Okta Ventures. Celebrity investors Shaquille O'Neal and Jared Leto also joined the round.

Alongside the funding announcement, Replit launched Agent 4, its most powerful AI agent yet. Built using Agent 3, the new agent is 10x faster and enables multiple agents to work in parallel. Agent 4 was also designed to be capable of handling multiple output types (apps, slides, videos, and tools) within a single project, and to collaborate with (teams of) developers through a canvas-like feature that enables users to visually communicate and refine their ideas.

Replit CEO Amjad Masad emphasized the company's core mission: "Every human with an idea and an Internet connection should be able to build any app they want." The new funding will support global expansion, particularly in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, along with product development and infrastructure capacity.
