Skyfire Systems Inc. is a company working on building the necessary infrastructure to make it possible for AI agents to make payments. Rather than building agents themselves, Skyfire focuses on the components needed to enable existing AI agents to safely complete autonomous transactions, including secure wallet access so agents can be assigned a budget and transaction limits without being given access to credit card information, verified agent identity services, and an open payment protocol to enable autonomous service requests, decisions, and purchasing transactions.

Co-founded by Amir Sarhangi and Craig DeWitt, who previously served at Ripple and helped develop the standard technology behind today's instant and universally accepted payments, Skyfire announced it has raised $8.5 million from Neuberger Berman, Brevan Howard Digital, Intersection Growth Partners, DRW, Inception Capital, Arrington Capital, RedBeard Ventures, Sfermion, Circle, FBG, Gemini, Crossbeam Venture Partners, EveryRealm, Draper Associates, ARCA, and Ripple. The funding will enable the company to expand its presence in a market they estimate will grow to $46 billion over the next three years, thanks to its platform which can be deployed in minutes with a simple SDK integration. Prospective customers can get started by signing up at skyfire.xyz.
