AI company You.com has secured $50 million in Series B funding to develop and expand its AI Productivity Engine which uses AI Agents to transform workflows across industries and offers collaborative features for teams and enterprises.
You.com, the AI-powered productivity platform, has announced it closed a $50 million Series B funding round, bringing the company's total funding to $99 million. The round was led by Georgian, with participation from notable investors including Salesforce Ventures, NVIDIA, SBVA (formerly Softbank Ventures Asia), and DuckDuckGo.
In addition to communicating the details of the company's latest funding round, the announcement details You.com's plans for the future, which consist of becoming a productivity engine that enables knowledge workers (and their teams) to optimize and even delegate to the AI tasks that traditional search engines would find too difficult to handle. Building on its services for individual users, You.com is introducing a Team Plan which provides a dedicated space where teams can create and share AI Agents and team members can participate in "multiplayer AI" conversations. Team Plan users can use public and proprietary data with the certainty that You.com will not retain any information as a privacy-protecting measure. Like the rest of its platform, You.com's Team Plan leverages its proprietary AI Operating System designed to boost AI Agents' accuracy to 99.9% by enriching existing foundation models like GPT-4 and Claude 3.5 with accuracy-boosting features including improved search capabilities, dynamic prompting, and advanced citation logic.
As You.com continues to grow—the company reports impressive growth, with 1 billion queries served and a 500% increase in ARR since January 2024—the funding round will boost its effort to continue the development of its AI productivity platform and its incursion into the enterprise market.
