Inbolt is a Paris-headquartered startup pioneering real-time robot guidance solutions boasting a client roster including Ford, Whirlpool, ThyssenKrupp Automotive, and Atlas Copco. Inbolt's flagship product is GuideNOW, a software-based solution that leverages AI and real-time imagery from any 3D vision camera to determine a part's position and orientation and guide the trajectory of industrial robots in structured and unstructured environments. GuideNOW has already been deployed and tested in several sites in France, Italy, Poland, Hungary, and the United States, supporting Inbolt's status as an industry leader. The solution reportedly saved automotive group Stellantis well over €3.1 million in a year.

Inbolt recently marked a significant milestone in its trajectory. The startup closed a successful Series A round led by Exor Ventures, the early-stage investment arm of Exor N.V., the largest shareholder of several industrial groups, such as Ferrari, Stellantis, and CNH Industrial. Supporting investors in the funding round include Bpifrance, Cardiologs founder Yann Fleureau, and existing investors MIG Capital, SOSV, and BNP Paribas Développement.

The funds will unlock new possibilities for Inbolt, including expanding its market presence in the US and Japan, accelerating product development, and growing its team. According to Inbolt CEO Rudy Cohen, the investment will enable Inbolt to meet the 400% increase in demand from multiple regions it has experienced over the last six months. As the company notes, labor shortages, deindustrialization, and a demand for better working conditions will make solutions like Inbolt's crucial in the future of manufacturing. With the closing of the Series A round, Inbolt is poised to tackle the next milestone as it continues to establish itself as a robust provider of robot guidance solutions.
