A new artificial intelligence model that can translate about 200 languages
Technology is now available to more people - the latest AI model, NLLB-200 can translate 200 different languages with an average increase in translation quality of 44%.
AI researchers created the No Language Left Behind (NLLB) program, which aims to develop high-quality machine translation capabilities for most of the world's languages.
NLLB-200 models and the FLORES-200 dataset are now open to developers, along with code to train the model and code to recreate the training dataset. Also, grants of up to $200,000 are available for researchers and non-profit organizations to use NLLB-200. Direction - development, food security, gender-based violence, education, or other areas, in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The NLLB-200 is the world's only innovation capable of translating 200 different languages of high quality. The NLLB will help more people read information in the right language rather than an intermediary language, ensuring accuracy and authenticity.
This is something that previous technologies could not achieve!
