Anthropic announced Artifacts' general availability and published its system prompts

Anthropic recently shared that it would make its Artifacts generally available for all Claude.ai users, regardless of the plan they're in. Moreover, the feature is no longer limited to the web Claude experience, as iOS and Android users can now create, view, and share Artifacts too. The Artifacts feature, which consists of a dedicated panel where users can preview and iterate on the content they've asked Claude to generate, launched as a feature preview this June.

Since its feature preview launch, the Artifacts feature has unlocked collaboration with Claude on products including code snippets, flowcharts, SVG graphics, websites, and interactive dashboards. Free and Pro Claude users can choose to publish their Artifacts to the user community and to build on the work published by others. Moreover, Team users can share Artifacts privately and securely within Projects.

Less than a day before the Artifacts announcement, Anthropic made the news after discreetly adding the Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Claude 3 Opus, and Claude 3 haiku system prompts to its documentation. The company has been working hard to prove itself as a more transparent and ethical company and many reports on this move see it as being motivated by the same intent.
