Clearly secured $4.3M to deliver timely insights on energy consumption and emissions for fleets
London-based Clearly, the startup behind an AI-powered climate intelligence platform that provides transport fleet operators with emissions generation-related actionable insights has raised $4.3 million in a seed funding round led by Pace Ventures and Nine Realms. The seed funding round also saw the support of existing investors Mobilion, Next Gear, M1720, and notable angels Lord Nash and Margaux Primat.
Founded by Danielle Walsh and Pedro Baiz, Clearly tackles the issue of decarbonizing supply chains by providing real-time, trip-level emission insights. To do this, the platform combines data from multiple sources, including vehicle movement and performance (GPS, tracking, IoT), operations (weight, packages), assets (vehicle type, tires), and energy (fuel, electricity) to generate actionable intelligence for fleet managers. By leveraging the Clearly platform's intelligence, fleet operators can drastically cut costs while meeting emission regulations and targets.
Clearly boasts a significant roster of clients across the US, Europe, and Asia, including Bridgestone’s fleet management solution, Webfleet. This has led the platform to track and extract insights from over 100 million trips working with a broad range of customers, from consumer goods companies and parcel delivery services to logistics operators and fleet management fleets to assist them with improving their environmental and financial outcomes.
With transportation emissions projected to increase by 60% by 2050 without intervention, Clearly's solution comes at a critical time. The new funding will be spent on enhancing the company's product offering, expanding its AI capabilities, and scaling its team to meet growing global demand.
