Cyera raised a $300 million Series C at a $1.4 Billion valuation
Cyera, a leading data security company, raised $300 million in its Series C round led by Coatue with the backing of new investors Spark Capital, Georgian, and AT&T Ventures. Additionally, existing investors Sequoia, Accel, Redpoint, and Cyberstarts contributed significantly toward the raised total. Since its creation in 2021, Cyera has raised $460 million. In parallel, the company also announced the appointment of Jason Clark, advisor to Cyera since its founding, as Chief Strategy Officer.
The raised funds will allow Cyera to meet the growing demand for data security solutions spurred by a record-high number of reported cyberattacks, the ever-expanding adoption of generative services such as ChatGPT, and the upcoming regulations requiring organizations to know and report where their data is, who can access it and how valuable it is. A leader in data security, Cyera is the first company to offer an agentless data security end-to-end approach to protect structured and unstructured data across various environments. Cyera recently made Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies of 2024 list, and the inaugural Fortune 60 list of top cybersecurity companies.
