Enso has emerged from stealth to bring the power of AI to small and medium businesses
Tel Aviv-based startup Enso has launched a Guided AI Agents platform with $6 million in seed funding, offering over 1,000 AI agents across 70 industries to provide affordable, enterprise-grade AI services to small and medium-sized businesses.
Tel Aviv-based Enso recently came out of stealth with a $6 million seed funding round led by NFX, with a mission to address the technology gap faced by small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) regarding generative AI adoption. Enso has unveiled the industry's first ecosystem of Guided AI Agents, an AI-powered software-as-a-service that aims to revolutionize how SMBs access AI-powered services. Enso offers over 1,000 Guided AI agents trained on domain-specific best practices across 70 industries, which can perform services covering critical business functions like research, accounting, digital marketing, and HR. The company plans to launch a "Guided AI Agent Builder" for developers to build and offer new agents to SMBs.
Enso aims to deliver reliable and accurate AI-powered solutions that enable SMBs, a workforce representing 43.5% of America's GDP, to face challenges related to aiming growth-related goals while struggling with daily operational demands. Custom enterprise-ready solutions are often cost-prohibitive for SMBs, potentially leaving behind the clients that would benefit the most from the technology. Likewise, while some off-the-shelf services may offer more affordable services for smaller teams, their AI agents are known to become unreliable over time, especially when faced with more complex workflows. Enso's Guided AI Agents are automatically directed to industry-specific templates, components, and software integration libraries to deliver consistent and trustable results every time.
CEO Mickey Haslavsky emphasized the platform's goal of making AI accessible to traditional industries, enabling them to compete with larger businesses without incurring high costs for agency services. Similarly, Gigi Levy-Weiss, Partner at NFX Ventures, highlighted the unfair advantage enjoyed by corporations able to leverage AI to maximize productivity as smaller, more traditional businesses divert most of their resources to cover the most basic administrative tasks, and praised Enso's mission to empower SMBs.
