FINBOURNE Technology, a leading provider of investment management solutions and the developer behind the finance-specialized data platform LUSID has raised £55 million in Series B funding led by Highland Europe and AXA Venture Partners (AVP). The Series B builds on a £15 million Series A in 2021 and underscores the growing demand for FINBOURNE's innovative, cloud-native data management platform and SaaS solutions.

Headquartered in London, FINBOURNE is renowned for its cloud-native data management platform LUSID, which empowers financial institutions worldwide to streamline operations and enhance decision-making capabilities across the investment lifecycle. The LUSID platform delivers front-to-back functionality across portfolio management, fund accounting, order management, compliance, and more. The platform also features embedded entitlements, lineage, and utilization metrics. Most importantly, FINBOURNE Technology claims that its product portfolio is helping customers prepare their data for AI and ML model training, an area the company will likely focus on going forward.

Even considering this possibility, the company is currently limiting its plans to strengthening its sales, product, and marketing capabilities in the US, UK, Ireland, Singapore, and Australia with the Series B investment.
