The ed-tech platform Multiverse recently announced it acquired the talent intelligence platform Searchlight. The former is a platform that enables employers to find talent that suits their needs, and individuals to find meaningful work that aligns with their skills and values. Multiverse, an ed-tech platform, combines work with learning, and, by working with over a thousand businesses, the company assists individuals to close essential skill gaps through a new kind of apprenticeship, regardless of where they are in their careers, and in parallel, it enables enterprise teams to find key talent with the skills required to unlock the digital transformation every organization is now looking for. Searchlight's AI technology will empower Multiverse to scale its efforts in identifying the ideal candidates to match with organizations looking to unlock the value brought by digital transformation. In its statement, Searchlight stated that it would continue to work with its existing customers for the duration of their contracts while transitioning into the Multiverse team. Founders Anna and Kerry Wang will join Multiverse as Head of AI and Product Director, respectively.
