The 2024 edition of the PyTorch Conference, a two-day event devoted to one of the leading open-source deep learning frameworks, took place on September 18-19 in San Francisco. Hosted by the PyTorch Foundation, the PyTorch Conference featured a schedule brimming with keynotes, talks, hands-on sessions, discussion panels, poster sessions, and the event's first-ever Startup Showcase.

The PyTorch Conference aims to bring together researchers, developers, and academic communities, making this event an ideal destination to learn all about the latest trends in open-source AI and ML, take advantage of the networking opportunities on offer, preview the latest tools, frameworks, and practices driving the evolution of AI and ML forward, and contribute to the advancement of PyTorch and its community.

Keynote speakers for the event comprised an all-star selection of AI and ML engineers and researchers from top industry-leading companies and research institutions, including AMD, IBM, PyTorch Lightning creators Lightning AI, Meta, Allen Institute for AI, Together AI, and Llama Index. Moreover, the conference's first-ever Startup Showcase enabled early-growth companies to gain visibility, network with some of the best engineers in the industry, and most importantly, pitch their proposals to a judging panel of VCs looking to invest in promising AI/ML startups.
