Qtum deployed 10,000 GPUs to power a blockchain AI ecosystem
Qtum acquired and set up 10,000 NVIDIA GPUs as part of its three-stage plan to develop, power, and deliver over 10 AI-related experiences on a decentralized model inference computing infrastructure, starting with Qtum Solstice and Qurator. Qtum Solstice is a conversational chatbot based on open-source models, while Qurator is an image generator akin to Midjourney, also based on open-source models. Further technical details on any of the products are scarce, but both can be accessed free of cost at https://qtum.ai/qurator and https://qtum.ai/solstice.
Qtum plans to leverage its developers' expertise in intelligent dialogue and content generation technologies to start building on the release of Solstice and Qurator to offer additional AI-powered features, including keyword-based image and video generation, emotional AI conversational chatbots, image recognition, and AI-powered filters and photo effects. Moreover, following its long-term plan, Qtum plans to add support to over 50 open-source models (its content generator currently supports four) in the next six months. Then, it plans to expand its decentralized infrastructure layer, likely to capitalize from premium planned features, such as renting large portions of computing power.
