ABOUT THE SPEAKER AND TOPIC
Large Language Models or Foundation Models are the ones that power Generative AI applications. FMs challenge classical Machine Learning with a paradigm shift towards Prompt Engineering which is the new way of building ML applications for businesses. In this talk we will discuss how businesses can leverage FMs using Prompt Engineering and build Generative AI application in the cloud. We will also go over the architectural components and resources on how to get started alongside how much does it cost.

My name is Talha and I lead ML initiatives across Nordics & Baltics, helping customers build their next gen AI/ML applications in the AWS cloud. I work as a AI/ML Specialist Solutions Architect at AWS, previously I have worked in the domains of Retail, Mobility, Workforce Management and Finance as a Data Scientist designing and building ML powered products saving millions of dollars for the businesses. Originally coming from Pakistan, I now live in Stockholm, Sweden and enjoy travelling across Europe to experience food, natural landscape and different cultures.
