Google acquires DeepMind

Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced on 20th April 2023, that Google is joining hands with DeepMind, an artificial intelligence (AI) company with headquarters in London. Given the significant expenditures Google has already made in AI research and development, this acquisition was a significant one for the business. In the area of deep learning, DeepMind was recognized as a pioneering AI startup.

DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis says that since the collaboration, DeepMind has very high expectations of advancing in the field of artificial intelligence study.
